Do We still need to renew our FSR every 3 years...Yes at a cost of about $150

Do we still need Points......Yes But now instead of 24, we only need 8 hours of training

Is the Training still bogus..... No.....It is now technical or code training

Are we still stuck with single source Trainers....No. There are all kinds of options including tech schools and individual trainers.

Is the reporting and accounting out-sourced.....No...It is now handled by the B.C. Safety Authority itself. No more privacy issues.

I would like to thank all of you who participated in this discussion to help make it known that we were headed down a costly and impractical road.

The BCSA has responded with an overwhelming restructuring of the initial proposal and came up with what i think is something that we can all live comfortably with. Every FSR out there should be thankfull to them for hearing our concerns and reacting in such a positive way.
