My Summary

First off...Thanks to all of you who took the time and honestly answered my questions.

Well, It appears that the electrical construction scene  in Kelowna is in pretty good shape.  From the responses i received from everyone, staffing levels are good, and there is enough work coming up to keep things moving.  The wage level seems to echo this as contractors said they are generally not having trouble recruiting more  electricians. The apprentice to journeyman ratio looks good as there are very few (9) electricians nearing retirement age.and there will be lots of apprentices graduating to fill those positions.  The 2010 olympics boom has not yet affected the kelowna area by draining the labour pool, and, employers reported that they have "truckloads" of resumes from  people wanting to enter the electrical trade.
Although its outdated (1996) more can be found on construchion electricians here
