CO2 Detectors now mandatory in all new dwellings.  They now require a minimum of one (1) per Floor.  There is no distinction of "Sleeping areas", so if you need extra smoke detectors, then go ahead, but you now MUST have 1 carbon Monoxide Detector per floor in any new dwellings.
